Travel Restrictions: Entry to Canada
CBSA guidelines for persons entering Canada
The Government of Canada had announced that, starting October 1, 2022, all COVID-19 border requirements, including vaccination, mandatory use of ArriveCAN, and any testing and quarantine/isolation requirements will end for all travellers entering Canada whether by land, air or sea.
Removing all COVID-19 border entry requirements when entering to Canada
- effective October 1, 2022 -
(Press Release) ... Effective October 1, 2022, all travellers, regardless of citizenship, will no longer have to:

submit public health information through the ArriveCAN app or website;
-
provide proof of vaccination;
-
undergo pre- or on-arrival testing;
-
carry out COVID-19-related quarantine or isolation;
-
monitor and report if they develop signs or symptoms of COVID-19 upon arriving to Canada.
Travel Restrictions: Entry to USA
DHS - "Department of Homeland Security ("DHS") will amend Title 19 regulations to allow non-essential travelers who have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and have appropriate documentation to enter the United States via land and ferry ports of entry (POEs) across the U.S. border.

Travelers will be required to have appropriate paperwork that provides proof of vaccination. Individuals who have not been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 will not be allowed to travel for non-essential purposes from Canada and Mexico into the United States via land and ferry POEs."

1. The QR code in a verifiable vaccination record links to information confirming the credential was generated from an immunization record in an official database and is protected from tampering.

How the 14 days are calculated:

Your last dose must have been given a full 14 days before the day you board your flight to the United States.

You are considered fully vaccinated on the 14th day after the vaccination series was completed. For example, if your last dose was any time on October 1st, then October 15th would be the first day that you meet the 14-day requirement.
